Account Deletion Policy

1. Introduction
Kainuwa Academy, a division of Kainuwa Digital Africa Ltd, respects your privacy and gives all users full control over their personal data.
This Account Deletion Policy explains how you can request deletion of your account and what happens to your data after deletion.
2. How to Delete Your Account
Users can delete their account in two ways:
Option 1: Inside the Mobile App

Open the Kainuwa Academy App

Go to Profile / Settings

Click on Delete Account

Confirm your request
Your account will be permanently deleted within 7 days.
Option 2: Request via Email
If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion by sending an email to:
Use the subject line:
"Account Deletion Request – Kainuwa Academy"
Include:

Your full name
-
Your registered email address
-
Your phone number (if used for registration)
3. What Data Will Be Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

Personal profile information

Login credentials
-
Course enrollments
-
Quiz results
-
Wallet balance (KNW Coin points)

Messages and support tickets
-
Uploaded documents
This data cannot be recovered.
4. Data That May Be Retained
We may retain limited data if required for:

Legal compliance

Fraud prevention

Financial transaction records (if applicable)

Security investigations
Such data will only be stored as required by Nigerian law and will not be used for marketing purposes.
5. Processing Time
Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days.
